Reverb dialog box

The reverb dialog box will appear when you click the control panel's [Reverb Type] button.
You can specify settings such as the reverb type and the delay time.
*When operating with a sampling frequency of 192 kHz, reverb is not available.
Setting Explanation
TYPE Selects the type of reverb
When OFF is selected, reverb is disabled.
PRE DELAY Adjusts the time from when the direct sound is output until the effect sound is output.
Lengthening the pre-delay will create an effect in which multiple sounds are heard.
TIME Adjusts the length of time to pass before the reverberation disappears.
You can adjust the PRE-DELAY and TIME parameters for each TYPE.
If you click the [Initial settings] button, the settings will return to their factory-set state.

Device panel

Shows the status of settings for STUDIO-CAPTURE.
Item Explanation
Device Selection button (STUDIO-CAPTURE, STUDIO-CAPTURE EXP) Selects which unit's settings will be shown when two STUDIO-CAPTURE units are connected.
When you click this button, the display of the STUDIO-CAPTURE unit itself will be highlighted.
Sampling frequency (SAMPLE RATE) Indicates/Sets the sampling frequency.
Clock source (CLOCK) Indicates the clock source.
INTERNAL: The STUDIO-CAPTURE's internal clock is used.
EXTERNAL: The STUDIO-CAPTURE is operating in synchronization with the digital signal being input to COAXIAL IN (15/16).
Setting the sampling rate
The sampling rate setting of the STUDIO-CAPTURE automatically changes to match the rate of the audio data that is played, or the rate that your DAW software is set to when recording. You can also change the sampling rate of the STUDIO-CAPTURE manually.
Click ▼ of the SAMPLE RATE, then select another sampling rate.
In this case, you may also need to change the sampling rate of the DAW software.
*The sampling rate cannot be changed during playback or recording, or when equipment is connected to the COAXIAL IN (15/16) jack.
*When the sampling rate is switched, a small pop noise may be heard, but this does not indicate a malfunction.

Setting Explanation
AUTO-SENS You can choose whether AUTO-SENS will be ended automatically or manually. The recording level will be set automatically according to the maximum volume that was input during the AUTO-SENS setting time.
AUTO: The AUTO-SENS setting will finish automatically after there has been no input for approximately four seconds, after the [AUTO-SENS] button was pressed.
MANUAL: The AUTO-SENS setting will not finish until you press the [FINISH] button.
AUTO-SENS Margin You can change the maximum value of the recording level that is detected.
6: Headroom is set at 6 dB. This setting provides a good overall balance.
0: The maximum value for the recording level is set at 0 dBFS. Clipping will occur if audio that exceeds the recording level detected by AUTO-SENS is input.
12: Headroom is set at 12 dB. The recording level will be reduced.
SYNC Choose “AUTO” if you're using a coaxial cable to synchronize with another device.
INPUT SELECTOR (INPUT 15/16) If you're using a coaxial cable to synchronize with another device and have connected equipment to the INPUT 15 and 16 jacks, choose “ANALOG.” Otherwise choose “AUTO.”
DIM SOLO You can specify complete muting or a specific level reduction for the channels other than the soloed channel in the monitor mixer control screen.
OFF: The channels will be muted.
-6: The level will decrease by -6 dB.
-12: The level will decrease by -12 dB.
-18: The level will decrease by -18 dB.
STEREO-LINK You can specify whether the [STEREO] button of the same channels in the preamp control screen and the monitor mixer control screen will be linked when you click the [STEREO] button.
INDIV.: Stereo link can be turned on/off individually for the preamp and the monitor mixer.

Save settings.../Load settings...
From the STUDIO-CAPTURE's control panel, you can save the current settings as a file, or load previously saved settings from a file.
The following settings are saved.
If you're using two connected STUDIO-CAPTURE units, you can save/load the settings for each unit individually.

Open the Patch Bay
As appropriate for your needs, you can freely assign the output destinations of the four monitor mixers and the output destinations of the playback channels from the computer.
To make settings, select the source to be patched in for each output jack.
Clicking the [INITIAL SETTING] button will return the settings to their factory-set state.
At the factory settings, audio output from monitor mixer A will be output from output jacks 1 and 2, and the computer's playback (WAVE OUT 3--10) will be output from output jacks 3 through 10.
When you click the [MULTIPLE-MONITOR] button, Monitor Mixer A--D will be output directly to output jacks 1–8.
When you click the [DIRECT WAVE OUT] button, the output from the computer will be output without change.
*When operating with a sampling frequency of 192 kHz, the patch bay is not available. The output settings will be fixed at the four channels OUTPUT 1-2: MONITOR A and OUTPUT 3-4: WAVE OUT 3-4. The inputs will be fixed at INPUT 1–8.
Source name Explanation
WAVE OUT 1 - 10 Playback sound from the computer
MONITOR A - D Output sound from monitor mixers A-D
Directly Output the Inputs
The input signals will be passed directly to the output jacks.
*The settings of monitors A–D and the patch bay will change.
